It is often argued that the life in a
countryside where people could not communicate with others because of a
different language would be kind of difficult and that can be critical problems
generally. I strongly agree with this opinion.
Firstly, people who live in the country
without the ability of a foreign language would suffer from practical problems.
If they could not understand texts in the foreign language, they could not
succeed in their contracts such as housing. Moreover, there is another problem.
For example, if native speakers in the country say the cost with their own
language, then they who do not know that language have to undergo hard time
although they are capable to pay that cost. It is very stressful situations if
lasts.
Furthermore, the social problems caused in
rural cities are worse. There are so many cases that native people have their
own community in their hometown. However, high possibility exists not to join
their community due to the language. It could make people who could not gather
lonely. Additionally, foreign people could be excluded from neighbors. In many
cases, natives in rural would have relatively stronger community consciousness than that
of other cities. It could lead to hate to foreign people. This situation would
last, once a bad atmosphere between original residents and foreigners is
created.
In conclusion, it is obvious that people
who decide to live in a countryside have a hard time to apply with their new
life. In spite of their effort, many negative situations occur such as daily
problem and even serious social problem. |
