There is disagreement the issue of whether it is significant to be interested in international events that are not relevant with people's daily lives. Some people say that we definitely need to be concerned about the events to know what happened in the world and then to help those need some helps. Others mention that, on the other hand, people in these days are too busy ,due to their hectic schedules, to be interested in other things, which do not have direct impact on them. My opinion is leaned to the former.
To begin with international events around the world would make people help other people who appeal for support such as financial aid. To be more specific, as natural disasters, which are earthquake or flood, would be happened wherever at any time, people should give assistance to those who are having difficulties. In Japan, for example, there was an earthquake which a great number of Japanese suffered from. They lost their houses, lives, and even families and it brought about the fact that people around the globe donated a large amount of money for them. As a result, the began rapidly to overcome this situation. Moreover, people can have better understanding by involving international events themselves. This is a good example that there have been a conflict in Hong Kong against the government. Many countries are getting more interests in it even though no one can do anything to support them. This show that the countries observing what happened in there can prepare in advance for a difficult situation in the future.
In conclusion, getting concerning about international events is a contentious topic because there are opinions that support and oppose this basic idea, However, I personally believe that interests of the events over the world can result in a positive effects. |
