Many people believe that due to the development of mobile phones and
computers, people seldom communicate face to face. Personally, I agree with
this perspective.
The most significant factor that people should consider is that
computers have become important means of hobbies. It is true that children have
been influenced by these intelligent gadgets, since their cognitive ability has
developed. Only one year child has their meal, while watching Youtube, and
young kids tend to play with computers, not with their parents who are busy for
business and house chores. Moreover, adults who are always tired of their
routine lives and do not have enough money to enjoy also prefer playing online
game alone, than hanging out with their friends. In these situations, all
generations are losing their ability to communicate with a real person, and
finally would be accustomed to unrealistic friends.
Another salient part is that the public is already obsessed with the
convenience of mobile phones. The advent of industrialization, people have needed
to live alone or stay far from their family, meeting face to face has become
one time event for a whole year. Rather the masses are likely to keep track of
their family and friends through their personal phones that they have carried
all the time. More importantly, individuals have felt a burden to communicate
directly, thereby using text messages even when they want to ask something or
just want to have a small talk with their acquaintances.
In conclusion, I think that thanks to mobile phones and computers,
people can enjoy their spare time and have various ways of communication, however,
they have been losing the chance to meet people and communicate face to face. |
