The bar chart illustrates that how buying
and drinking habits for coffee and tea differ among Australian residents in
five cities during the last four weeks.
Overall, it can be seen that visiting a café
for coffee or tea was the most popular choice in all cities but Adelaide, where
buying instant coffee was done marginally more.
The most striking feature was at least 45
percent of citizens purchased instant coffee in the last 4 weeks, it is clear
that instant coffee was more popular than fresh coffee in all five cities.
Also, city residents in all cities
excluding Adelaide preferred to visit cafes for coffee or tea more than they preferred
to buy instant coffee. Over 60 percent of residents in Sydney, Melbourne and
Hobart visited a café in the last four weeks.
Moreover, Sydney was the only city with
citizens who showed similar preferences for fresh and instant coffee. These
figures were 43 percent and 46 percent, respectively.
Lastly, Brisbane and Adelaide had a relatively
low preference with fresh coffee. Both figures were slightly less than 35
percent each. |
