group of parents tend to purchase large quantities of toys for their children.
It is generally
believed that toys at young age would help to develop children's brain and
physical functions. However, a significant numbers of toys are generally
purchased every year, while other learning methods such as books are
comparatively less picked by young parents. This essay will elaborate what are
the pros and cons of having a large quantity of toys for children, and lead to
a conclusion.
At the outset, there
are numerous reasons as to why children gain benefits from having variety of
toys. Playing with toys helps to develop children's creativity from
experiencing variety type of toys. Toys are usually in contrast colour which
would stimulate brain function by visual and physical contacts.
In addition, toys
are also considered excellent tools to acquire hand skills for young children.
While they are surrounded by toys, they usually find peace in mind focus on
what they are on their hands. Letting them exposed in a various and large
quantity of toys would develop children's character.
On the contrary,
others claim that buying large numbers of toys is not an advisable practice for
young parents. The rationale behind their claim is that having large number of
toys distributes children not focusing on other learning materials such as
books which are usually less stimulating for children than toys. Furthermore,
having large quantity brings hard on managing them for children, yet this is
the one of important manner that children need to learn during play. In
addition to this, toys are extremely expensive these days, and only few items
would be rolled at a time by children. Therefore, having a large quantity of
toys does not necessary guarantee children's development.
In conclusion, toys for
children is an excellent source for developing children's function. However,
having various toys in a large quantity is not always the case. Therefore,
