It is often argued that music could make
communication between various cultures or generations. However, there is also
an opinion that music is too limitative to make people interact. I strongly
agree with the first argument.
Firstly, music has become becomes one of the easiest
arts to find. In the past, music was the culture that people who are at least in/of the middle
class could enjoy. Fortunately, the situation has changed. These days, with a social development,
many social media have improved such as Youtube, Facebook (두 개만 나열할 때에는 and 로 이어주셔야합니다.). Additionally, most
of these media are is available for free. It makes people utilize social media more
than past. This results that music has uploaded at these media, especially
Youtube. Moreover, social media does not have any limitations with race,
nationality, sex, et cetera. It means more people than past could enjoy the
music without restrictions. Thus, music can bring people to other cultures. (바로 밑의 문단에서는 문화를 다루고 있으므로, 여기에는 나이 관련 내용을 적어주시는 게 좋습니다.)
Secondly, music could raise interests for
other culture. There are a lot of songs that filled with lyrics that some
people could not understand because of differences of languages they use.
However, it would not become a demerit. It makes people have an interest for
other languages, because most of them who listen to other countries’ music want to
sing along the with songs. For example, k-pop becomes K-pop has become definitely popular than it was in the past.
It could be found from the example of BTS which is the boy group in Korea. There
are so many people who want to learn Korean even korean culture. (이 문장을 BTS, 혹은 그들의 노래와 관련해서 조금 더 연결시켜주세요~) It is absolutely
an evidence for the opinion that music is a good medium for various culture.
In conclusion, the effect of music could
not be ignored in these days. With the media that could convey music abroad, the
popularity of music in worldwide has increased significantly. Furthermore,
music is so addictive that people have interests in other cultures. |
