The two donut graphs illustrate kinds of jobs by genders, which high school students wish to be, by gender.
Overall, there were many differences in the job preferences between men and women ('학생' 이 대상이라 men women 을 쓰기에는 조금 무리가 있습니다.). Especially, male students selected the doctor as their favour the most, while the most popular job of females was a teacher.
According to the charts, 32 percent of boys chose the doctor as their occupation in the future, followed by an athlete which accounted for 21 percent. On the other hand, only 8 percent of girls responded an athlete as their dream job and the gap between men and women in the doctor area was 24 percentage points, which was the biggest difference among 6 areas. Also, the proportion of a teacher and a professor in the graph for men described that male students rarely were not interested in the work teaching someone.
Looking at the figure for females, it is clear that a teacher, dentist, and lawyer were dominant and the sum of them was more than 60 percent. Meanwhile, they generally had an apathy in the athlete section and the figure for an athlete was 5 percent which is lower than the figure for which males wanted to be a teacher. |
