It
is often argued that it is more advantageous for students to educate political
science education, even if it does not appeal to them at all. I completely
disagree with this opinion and I think that educating the basic course for
students each grade is more important than political education.
First
of all, I believe it is quite difficult for the younger generations especially,
for elementary and middle school students, to get the point learning about political
science since they have not got a chance and opportunity to experience a
realistic society. In Korea, there are specific education systems, which the
students for each grade, need to be taught. Thus, I think it might be a good
idea to focus on learning about basic academic skills in school. For example,
the adults, more than 20years old, only can get a voting authority in
accordance with the current government vote policy.
Moreover,
frequently teaching political science education will have a negative impact on
teenagers because I believe it makes students rigorous political orientation
before going to society and the world. During the school years, cultivating
their personality and learning about primary subjects such as math, science,
language and historical education are more beneficial for the students rather
than considering political science education.
To
conclude, I strongly believe students in school need to learn from a young age
that they should consider primary subjects carefully. they will naturally more
close to the political environment in their adult life later on. |
