In this contemporary era, climate change has become a perplexing
problem for human’s survival and rise in ocean levels is increasing at a
neck-break pace. There are several
issues associated with the sea level rise and I will suggest some measures
could be taken to tackle the problem.
The main problem of rising sea
levels is people’s residential areas near the sea Many coastal cities are under threat due
to land loss and flooding, so they need to find new places to live in. For
example, A a small and low-lying island called Tuvalu will become uninhabitable
in the next 100 years. Another issue is the a marine ecosystem, which is affected by
higher sea levels. There are several sea creatures threatened by rising sea
temperature. This often results in massive death in fish or other marine animals,
so biodiversity could decline.
In order to alleviate these problems above, there are various steps that can be taken we
can take. Firstly, governments and individuals try to reduce greenhouse
emissions to address global warming. This can be done by using renewable
energies such as solar, wind and thermal power and less dependent on coal and
fossil fuels. Secondly, protecting the natural environment like reducing
deforestation and planting more trees which absorb carbon dioxide can help to
stop climate change. Lastly, for people who are living in the coastline areas,
they should evacuate to another country and other countries should help them to
migrate to a safe place. (딱히 구체적인 설명도 없고, 해결책은 위에 제시된 두 개로 충분합니다. 저 두 가지를 더 상세하게 적는데에 집중해주세요.)
In conclusion, global warming is a huge problem that brings devastating
effects on human habitats in coastline and marine ecosystem. (문제의 양상에 대한 요약도 짧게나마 해주세요!) I believe
that the most practical and effective way to tackle the problems is cooperation
between governments and individuals to use sustainable energies to reduce greenhouse emissions.
