The pie charts compare the proportion of three ingredients which are consumed in four types of meals in the US.
It is clear that added sugar are consumed the most mostly (mostly 와 the most 는 구분해주셔야 합니다. 전자는 대다수, 즉 70~80% 넘어가는 수치에 해당되는 표현입니다.) in snacks. However, except snacks all three ingredients are consumed in dinner the most, and less portion of them are consumed in lunch and breakfast. Meanwhile, sodium and saturated fat show the most shares in dinner.
Americans consume 43% of sodium in dinner, and it is the highest figure among all three types of meals. Following dinner, they consume 29% and 14% of sodium in lunch and breakfast respectively, but snacks takes only 14%. Also, saturated fat shows very similar pattern with sodium. 43% of it consumed in dinner; 26% in lunch and 16% in breakfast. (일일히 나열하지 마세요~덜 중요한 건 생략해도 됩니다. 모든 걸 다 다루려고 해서도 안 되고, 그럴 필요도 없습니다.) However, the figure for snack is higher than it of sodium by 7 percent points. Different from sodium and saturated fat, 42% of added sugar is consumed in snack and following it, 23% of added sugar is consumed in dinner, 19% in lunch, and 16% in snacks.
