The given bar chart depicts the survey of how much the ten significant countries in the world produced and consumed electricity in 2014. By and large, it is generally witnessed that the production of electricity is greater than consumption in most countries. Looking more closely into the graph, China and the United States are the most noticeable countries since they took the first and second highest rank respectively which both illustrate a much greater production and consumption of electrical resources, compared to other nations. The average rate of both countries is almost five times as high as that of the third rank, Russia, at slightly over 1,000 billion kWh in both categories. On the contrary, the Republic of Korea had the lowest figures of supply and demand among the remaining eight countries and both rates are less than 500 billion kWh which only 10% of the highest figure in the chart. Lastly, it must be noted that Germany has the only difference since its electrical consumption was slightly higher than the production.
