There are a lot of countries attract countless tourists in the world. Tourism is one of the noticeable industries due to its remarkable profits but it could be argued that some countries show poor profit sharing. Furthermore, due to the growing number of tourists, also the growing number of cases devastating the local culture and environment are reported. The sources of the problem and the various measures are going to be suggested in this essay. First of all, one reason for the low rate in beneficial sharing is that the poor public education system. Even though the education right is one of the significant human rights in the world, there still are a great number of people in poverty do not have any opportunities to be educated. Without the obligation of public education, only a number of blessed children can improve themselves. Enhancing general knowledge of people encourages tourist companies to recruit the local candidates, for instance, bilingual, tour-guides and traditional cuisine chief. Hence, the local educational legislation enables to help national people in low income to earn their own salaries from tourism. Another reason can be the lack of support services, for example, health care facilities, public social insurance, and so on. By facilitating the welfare, the advantages are able to be evenly distributed to the people. However, despite the high revenue from global tourists, the destruction of the national heritage and local residents’ daily lives by travelers is becoming a great concern. Many villages in European countries such as Venice, local people committed a huge strike to condemn the tourists who entered residences without authorizations, threw rubbish in the river and scribbled on the wall. One way to resolve the drawbacks is, putting severe penalties to suspects like imposing fine or holding a person in custody. Another solution is developing conventional activities for tourists, for instance, cooking local dishes and experiencing traditional costumes. These programs may appeal to visitors by introducing unique attractions. In conclusion, by offering education opportunities and social care services, poor people can be helped. In addition, by setting up strict guidelines and creating exceptional tourist programs, we can pursue the sustainability of the national environment.
