The table chart compares the percentage of students who suffered from seven different educational problems in two primary schools in 2005 and 2015.
Overall, it can be seen that incomparably greater
proportion of children experienced learning problems in school A, compared to counterparts
in school B. However, each figure of school A in 2005 generally decreased in 2015,
while school B showed slight upward trend between two period given.
As regards school A, Following instruction and
following instructions were the two most common problems which students faced in
2005 at 42% and 40% each, while both two categories experienced significant decline
to 18% in 2015. Following this, 35% of children underwent difficulties related
to listening skills and verbal expression of ideas at 35 in 2005 and the figure
of them decreased to 20% and 21 respectively. Reading ability and Handwriting
accounted for 22% and 28% in 2005, having little change in 2015.
Looking at the school B, concentration
in lessons was the highest figure at 15% both in 2005 and 2015. Simultaneously,
verbal expression of ideas was the second highest at 14%, which showed increase
by 1 percentage points in 2015. Spelling and following instructions were the
two challenges which doubled its rates from 5% and 6% in 2005 to 10% and 12% in
2015. The two remaining problems consists of just below 10% in two period in
the chart.
