Recently, Some people assert that growing up with siblings has more benefits than people who grow up alone without siblings, and only children have insufficient social skills that lead to success. I disagree with this topic, and in this regard, I will write this essay with concerning my opinions.
It is partially true that having brothers and sisters could be affected on learning social skills. Those people have shared many things like toys, clothes, food and spaces since an early age. For instance, there is only one stuff like the piano, an electronic car toy and television in a house, so when their sister or brother use one toy, another child have to wait for finishing that, and watching TV would be the same situation. For these reasons, people who has siblings have learned about sharing somethings, patience and consideration, and those learning could help children improve their social skills. As a result, people who grow up with sibling could be some pros.
However, I believe that only children also learn social skills as much as people who have siblings. These days, children go to kindergarten when they are 4-5 years, and they spend a lot of time in nursery with their peers, so they naturally can acquire social skills like sharing, communicating with others and consideration as they contact with other friends. In addition, over the world, there are many successful people socially in spite of growing up alone, and they are good at communicating with people and managing their businesses well. Thus, it is irrelevant between only children and social skills.
In conclusion, even though growing up together would have some advantages on social skills, only children also can learn in the kindergarten when they are young as them.
