It is a common belief that the idea of intruding people’s liberties is bad. These days, many people who are living in the capitalism say that restricting freedom of human being because of the security of society is not right in modern times. If someone who lives in a country which curbs freedom due to the security posts stories about the government in a bad way, the government could stop him from writing those stories down and keep society from developing toward better ways. They think it can be detrimental to the improvement of the country and it might stop people from making a revolution.
However, I firmly believe that one’s freedom can be violated by the government depending on the purpose of the person. First of all, Many people have their own mindset, therefore there are lots of conflicts about something religious, regional, sexual and political. For example, when someone looks up how to make a terror because her or his thinking is different from a common belief, the government can violate him. By violating selective freedom, we could decrease the possibility of terror and terminate the terrorism.
Second of all, the government could keep the order of society in a peace. They stop the conflicts happening in case, so people could keep their life peacefully without any wars. Moreover, they don’t have to be worried about happening any conflicts so the society will be better in many ways.
The point is that how the government do restrict freedom selectively and fairly. They should not limit liberty of people who are not thinking about the problems that might cause a serious issue selfishly. |
