The given chart illustrates the number of social networking sites
visited by the Internet users in Canada in 2014 and 2015.
Overall,
more users who accessed in social networking websites in Canada had increased in 2015 compared to 2014.
To be
more specific, just over one fifth of the Internet users did not use any social
networking sites in both years with a slight decrease from 22 percent to 21 percent.
The proportion for one site still was the largest share in both years however,
it dropped significantly in 2015 as 12 percent points.
In
contrast, the share for the Internet users who used two, three, four and five
sites rose in 2015. The preference for three sites was the biggest growth among
the increased proportion with 16 percent in 2015. However, the change of the
percentage for the Internet users who visited two sites rose only 1 percent points.
Meanwhile, the least proportion remained unchanged was five sites with 4
percent while it grew as 2 percent points.
