It is a common belief that it is worth to invest the space exploration, but there are people who think that it has been a waste of money. In my opinion, the disadvantages of space exploration overtake its advantages.
First of all, there are several advantages. We could find scientific discoveries and open new probabilities to contribute to mankind's development if countries consistently invest in space exploration. One of the examples is alternative resources and the new environment that we could live there. It is commonly known that most people are suffering from environmental issues such as global warming led by the usage of fossil fuels. As a result, new discoveries could be a catalyst to make us choose other options to live healthily. This shows that it is worth for many countries to invest in space exploration to find discoveries.
On the other hand, another factor that could explain why it has more disadvantages is that to explore space, a lot of expense and international efforts are accompanied. It is a more rational option for us to invest more accessible things, confining the earth. This is because new discoveries in space are considered a fade possibility when we refer our results that have conducted in space. For this reason, it is more reasonable for countries to concentrate more on higher probability. For example, one of Korea's islands called Dok-do had an unknown resource that had a much higher probability of alternative to fossil fuel. As a result, space exploration could be just a waste of money, unlike earth investment.
To sum up, after considering both of these perspectives, I support the assertion that provides more persuasive reasons that there are higher possibilities in the earth. This is due to the fact that no one knows what value space exist and how much it costs precisely.
