The chart shows the information about how to manage waste in fifteen Europe countries. In overall, ways of disposing waste include four types and prominent one of the four types is landfill except for a few states.
Turning to the details, there are countries using landfill to remove most of waste, which contains Greece, Ireland, UK, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Finland and France. Greece occupy the highest level in landfill sector, making up almost 90%. The remaining countries also employ more landfill method than other ways. Meanwhile, similar figure show in France which represents just over 40% in landfill and around 35% in incineration.
On the other hand, Luxembourg, Belgium, Austria, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands and Denmark use less landfill and Belgium and Austria harness more eco-friendly form. The biggest figure as about 70% in recycled method account for Austria. As for less eco-friendly way, incineration is consumed by Luxembourg and Denmark mainly and these percentage constitute approximately just under 60%.
