These days, there are more women who are in the workforce than in the past. However, they hardly become senior as much as men. In this essay, I would suggest the reason for this phenomenon and solutions to resolve this problem.
The main cause of this problem, I think, is that there are still remained stereotypes about roles related to sexes. It is evident that nowadays roles of women and men are regarded various than the past. Nevertheless, significant decisions tend to be made by men more than women. For instance, even if a wife and a husband earn the same amount of money from their work, the wife is more likely to do housework and take care of their children after work. This suggests there are discriminate roles depend on sexes.
A helpful way to solve this issue is excepting for sexes when companies make decisions. This is for considering only important factors related to work regardless of people's background such as sexes. To illustrate, interviewing employees without seeing each other is a popular way to pick the most proper workers. As such, backgrounds can not affect the effectiveness of work or show one's ability.
To sum up, there are more diverse roles for two sexes than the past, however, men are more likely to be senior positions. It is because of remained thoughts that women and men separately take their own works. Companies should make a policy to consider people without bais to backgrounds, which are not significant factors in terms of workers' abilities.
