In many countries, especially in undeveloped or developing countries, overpopulation has been one of the biggest problems, having adverse adverse effects on the society. Therefore, there needs to understand what problems it causes and figure out how to deal with it.
Not only is does impoverishment caused by lack of food a problem, which a number of countries have, people are suffering from not enough housing and lands. In addition to this, overpopulation results in poverty, which causes a load of diseases, and then people can not make enough money for their livings, which leads them to more severe poverty; in a word, it can be described as a vicious cycle.
Fortunately, there are ways to cope with the issue. First of all, many people believe that birth-control might cut the endless chain of overpopulation. As you might know, there has been quite a few attempts to control the birth-rate in some countries, such as China and India, and it can not be denied that the attempts had fairly acceptable results.
Morever, thanks to the globalized world, immigration and adopting children from overpopulated countries to well-developed countries seem to be plausible. In spite of the global recession of late, far more job opportunities and better education systems are given to people in developed countries relatively than relatively poor countries. When people immigate or children are adopted to those richer countries, they are likely to have better lives, not ot to mention it might reduce the problems caused by overpopulation.
To sum up, overpopulation isnot a problem per se, but also has lots of side-effects. Therefore, we are to keep looking for solutions and try to help the people who are suffering from it.
