It is true that there is an increasing number of crimes committed by schoolchildren nowadays and also many innocent victims are suffering from bullying, as a consequence.
First of all, the main reason for this issue is increasing amount of violent media. With the development of smart devices and the Internet technology, many young children have been able to readily access videos and images showing terrible offences and deadly weapons, and even there are no stringent regulations to protect children from harmful contents. By continuously exposing students to entertainment media including abusive words and behaviours, they are more likely to mimic these serious crimes without awareness of risks and consequences. For example, according to the survey conducted by lots of developed countries, it is evident that children who are exposed to by far more time spending offensive games tend to commit bullying and violence more than peers in schools.
Hence, in order to solve, or at least minimise intensified these problems, more feasible and practical measures should be implemented by the government and all parents. First of all, the government should force entertainment corporations to create intensive regulations which prevent children from accessing to their harmful contents. If companies do not follow this law, the government has to impose the numerous amount of fees on them. For instance, all of the film institutions have implemented the age limit according to the level of violence and suggestive scenes, which effectively helps reduce potential violence committed by children in a long-term perspective. Moreover, all of the parents should try to keep their children apart from media containing crimes scenes, while teaching ethical personality to their boys and girls.
In conclusion, even though there are severe problems of increasing number of criminal incidence done by teenagers, we can handle this problem by imposing thoroughgoing regulations on children and instructing moral personality to them.
