The bar chart shows the amount of export earnings in various categories and the table shows the percentage of change in values from 2015 to 2016.
Overall, most products’ export earnings increased over 2years, excepting gems and jewellery. Textiles increased gradually while agricultural products rose up the least. Petroleum products is the highest over 2 years.
Textiles export rise up sharply, 15.24%, and the
export earning was over 30billions dollars in 2016 while it was about
25billions dollars in 2015. Although it increased the most, it is still the
lowest among five categories in 2016. Petroleum products, occupying the highest
rate in both years, increased 3%. The export of engineered goods rose up 8.5%
and earning exceeded 60billions dollars in 2016. Agricultural products went up
just only 0.81% and it became almost equal to textiles in 2016.
