This diagram illustrates the process of electricity generation in a hydroelectric power station. Overall, the process is made in day and night. First, the river goes into the high-level reservoir. The the water flows into the intake which is open during the day. Second, the electricity is generated by the flow of water. Third (지금처럼 이렇게 1,2,3으로 쭉 나열하는 것은 별로 권장드리고 싶지 않습니다.), the water runs to the power station. In this stage, the reversible turbines operate the generator so that the water can go to the low-level reservoir and it makes the power lines turn into national grid. On the other hand, the water flows reversly during the night. The water from the low-level reservoir goes into the power station. The generator operates the reversible turbines to pump the water so that it can move moves up to high-level reservoir. Pumped water goes up to the high-level reservoir. The intake is closed during the night to prevent the water running into the runs into low-level.
