Some people believe that having part-time jobs is suitable for college students. They claim that this helps students to experience more and be more independent. I support this idea because it allows students to expand their decisions by experiencing social life and being more financially free by doing part-time jobs.
Firstly, by experiencing more community events, they can have a better understanding of themselves. Later, it makes them have more power to choose essential things, which has the added benefit of choosing jobs in the future with developed social skills and a better understanding of me. In particular, students can broaden their minds by experiencing community life in advance. For example, many college students these days often choose their job after they found their interest by doing part-time jobs. They can observe and asked experts in a field that they are interested in through a part-time job. Part-time jobs broaden the social life experiences of college students because they made opportunities to meet diverse people.
Secondly, it gives economic freedom by working beforehand because it provides money for students to pursue a better world. It is a well-known fact that money allows better choices and opportunities. For example, by having more cash, students can do what they want to do more, such as shopping, traveling, and extra studying. Some students prefer to travel to experience new cultures. As this shows, students have curiosity over meeting new people and experiencing more diverse cultures. Therefore, it is evident that economic freedom allows students to have a better experience and learning process.
In conclusion, part-time jobs allow university students to have better social life experiences and give chances to experience more in their interested fields by getting economic freedom. For these reasons, I believe that it is preferable to have part-time jobs in college-years.
