The illustrated
bar chart outlines the consumption of coffee and tea in three different types
of intake in five main Australian cities. A brief analysis of the chart reveals the
rate of cafegoers is the largest in most of the cities with an exception, Adelaide
which shows buying instant coffee as the highest figure in the last month. Of going to cafés for coffee or tea, its figures
depict the highest rate generally. The column of Melbourne plots around 63%, closely
followed by that of Hobart and Sydney; slightly over 60% and that of Brisbane
stood at 55%. While the rate of instant coffee consumers in Melbourne, Hobart
and Sydney unfolds minimum 10% points of gap with that of cafegoers, Brisbane
shows marginal difference in the ratio. It is worth noticing that Adelaide is
the only city that instant coffee takers are slightly higher than that of café
visitors in the figure, both data shows nearly 50% but mere discrepancy. Having fresh coffee is evidently observed as
the least popular choice among Australian residents. Sydney and Melbourne’s
citizens tend to purchase more fresh coffee compare to other cities, both
rates stand for over 40% and it is trailed by that of Hobart, slightly less
than 40%. The figures of Brisbane and Adelaide indicate almost the same, approximately
34%. |
