As more and more technicians in arts have international appeal these days, contemporary arts has become a collaboration of their minds. While this new spirit has swept across the globe of today, more rooms are needed to house arts and crafts. There might still be an opinion that local museums should not display foreign works, but I agree with the opposite thought and will discuss the reasons here.
Decidedly, there are many advantages of displaying both local and international arts at the same place. When collaborating the local ones with the international ones, creative ideas can naturally be generated, and they may rock the world again. At first, it might seem that there is nothing in common between the two different styles, but this unfamiliarity can rather be inspirational to new visitors and give them chances to explore different worlds.
Uniquely, there is a limit in supplying local artworks for most museums, and this limitation often makes the (여기는 the가 없는 게 더 적절하지 않나 싶네요. 오히려 저 밑에 the local economy가 맞지 않나 싶습니다. 물론 관사는 사람에 따라 의견이 나뉘니까 그냥 넘어가셔도 무방합니다.) management difficult. In order to solve this problem, a variety of works should be allowed so that it can benefit the local economy. Adding artworks from other countries and regularly opening exhibitions of them can be the ways to increase the number of displays as well as visitors who actually pay for viewing them.
As a matter of fact, museums should embrace more works of foreign art, not just the local ones, as there can be obvious benefits to them. Those works are the sources of imagination for people as well as the ways of funding and managing for the museums. |
