People in modern society, have faced vulnerable stress in life because of their work and study compared to the formal generation in the past. This would strongly be affected individual physical health as well as mental in a bad way and linked to the fact of soaring unknown diseases. In this essay, I will state both the causes and solutions of this occurrence.
To begin with, stress can be inevitable and the biggest factor in destroying one’s immune system and health system. By getting so much stress from their daily life, people feel more tired and devastated and this kind of repetition could occur various sicknesses among society members. I assume that there are two plausible reasons for this phenomenon; one of the reasons could be the relationship with other society members. With the development of technology, the opportunities of interacting with other individuals have been increased and this is not always a positive thing because as the more meeting new people, the more conflicts could have occurred. The other reason is that requiring young to have too much competition with other peers to get a job and get into college or even secondary school. The ordinary social norms of dividing into only winners and losers in the society may young people would feel so daunting.
To solve the problem, people in modern society should change their mindset that they have to always be perfect and do their best every time. This mindset could be positively affected on their social and educational development, however, it can also be a detrimental effect to boost the stress level. Moreover, the education system should be changed necessarily but gradually to make students feel less stressed. Not only the class schedules or plans but also the relationship with other peers and teachers should be a stress-free environment. This is because the pressure from childhood can be connected to adulthood and it could become their trauma.
In conclusion, although getting stress could be another factor of improving an individual’s social or academic level and status, this can be harmful on people’s health by occurring a lot of unknown illnesses and the authorities should implement the stress-free measures the education system to mitigate the fierce competition.
