My answer
The tables below illustrates the percentages of students in a England university who could speak additional languages except their mother tongue in 2000 and 2010. In general, the largest proportion of students in both years who were able to speak Spanish. Moreover, plenty of students at one university in England were able to speak French, German and Spanish.
In both years, the percentages of students who could speak Spanish accounted for the biggest part of the research. To be more specific, 30% of students could speak Spanish in 2000, and 35% of students could speak Spanish in 2010. Also, we can immediately notice that the proportion of students who could speak Spanish in 2010 increased compared to the percentage of students in 2000.
There were some primary languages that students were able to speak except their mother tongue. These languages were French, German and Spanish, and we can notice that the proportion of students who could speak these three primary languages were more than 50% in both years. Also, in both years, the proportion of students who were able to speak German accounted for 10% which were the same.
