The two given graphs show the information
about the number of public transit passengers. The first graph on the left
indicates how many passengers had used public transit over two decades period,
and the second one on the right shows the number of bus and tram users from
2000 to 2008.
Overall, it is clear that all three lines
in the graphs went up after 2006, and reached the highest point each. Also, the
number of bus users was bigger than that of tram users before 2004, but since
then this trend had upended.
Looking at the graphs more closely, one can
see that the number of people who used public transit had increased over the 20
years. Especially, it tended to go up sharply for the five years from 2004,
making it 500 million. As the tendency above, even if there was a stall between
2000 and 2000, lots of passengers had ridden on buses after 2004, the number of
which got over 200 million in 2008. However, the number of tram users had
remained around 150 million between 2000 and 2008. After then, these figures
had been on the rise, and by 2008 it reached 200 million.
