To begin with, there are two main demerits at working at employee’s place. It is common that comfortable atmosphere could simply bring laziness and distribution to workers that interrupt their working ability. Secondly, they can disturbed by their family, housemates and pets therefore they cannot focus on their task properly. However, these disadvantages could be simply solved when workers concentrate on their tasks and make working atmosphere in their place.
Despite these negative factors, however, there are more merits are considered. First of all, working at home can avoid unnecessary time and energy consumptions by removing commute to work and traveling to attend meetings. Moreover, in terms of time saving, it is possible to undertake other tasks while working. To be specific, workers can do house chores, take care of their children and working at the same time. It also provides freedom of scheduled, therefore, they can arrange tasks depends on individual’s situations. Another benefits on working from home is it can provide under-pressured working conditions. It is because they can avoid friction between coworkers and superiors. It is also said that home where is comfortable place encourage employees are able to ease the tension to do tasks which could make them willing to work.
In conclusion, although there are positives and negatives related to working from home, there are more beneficial impacts. Hence, employers should consider working from home to enhance employee's work abilities.
