The two chart
depicts the ratio change in student enrolment of bachelor, associate, doctoral and
master’s degree in a Canada’s university in Canada each in 1980 and 2000. In general, proportion
of the bachelor’s degree decreased, whereas the percentage of doctoral,
associate, and master’s degree all increased.
To have a
closer look at each degree, the ratio of associate, doctoral, and master’s
degree went up by each 5 five, 3 three, and 26 percent points. The degree of bachelor’s
share declined by 34 percent points, but it still remained as the category with the highest percentage among
all categories. The master’s degree outpaced the share of associate degree due
to the rapid increase over the 20-year period, while the doctoral degree was
ranked in last place in 2000 even after the increase. According to this change,
it is clear that more people are enrolling to higher degrees in universities these
days, and made the gap between the four degrees narrow than before. (얘를 Overview로 올려주시면 됩니다. 지금 있는 건 지우시고요.)
