The chart shows the number of
men and women in further education in Britain in three periods and whether they
were studying full-time or part-time.
The given chart illustrates how many men
and women in Britain had further education, full time or part-time, for three
decades.
Overall, it is clear that three bar charts
showed the increasing trend exempt for the figure of men in part-time education.
In detail, in 1970, the type of education
with the most students was part time one for men which recorded around 1000,
while merely 800 women took the education. When the number of females who was
in part-time education began to climb, by 1980, slightly under 800 of males
responded that they had part-time further education. The former one reached the
high of around 1100 in 1990. Even though the number of male students rose as
well, it accounted for only about 9000.
Meanwhile, there were a similar trend in
full-time education which increased continuously from 1970 to 1990 regardless
of gender. The graph of women which made up about 100 by 1970 doubled after a
decade.
