The table illustrates the economic value of
international students in the US in 2005, 2010, and 2015. The bar graph gives
information about the number of international students from three different
countries which are China, India, and South Korea in 2005 and 2015.
Overall, it is apparent that the economic
value of international students showed upward trend during the period according
to the table. In addition, the number of international students increased in
2015 compared to 2005 from all three countries.
Looking at the table more closely, one can
see that the economic value increased from 10.1 billion in 2005 to 15.6 billion
in 2015. In 2015, economic value of international students rose remarkably,
which was more than double of that of 2010.
According to the bar graph, the number of
students from China rose noticeably compared to the other two countries, which was
about 50,000 in 2005 but 350,000 in 2015. Although less than 100,000 students
came from India in 2005, more than 200,000 students came in 2015. While there
was less change in South Korea, more than 100,000 students came in 2015. |
