The illustrated line chart outlines the number of international
students from Iran, Greece, and Turkey who registered Sheffield University from
2005 to 2009. On the whole,
when Greek students enrolled the college plunged in number, that of Iranian
and Turkish students show gradual rises throughout the given span. Considering the
former half period before 2007, while 20 Turkish students enrolled, almost twofold
more Iranian and 90 times more Greek pupils entered than that of Turkish in
the beginning. In the next year, although the figure of Greece plummeted by around
30, that of Iran and Turkey grew to 60 and nearly 50 accordingly. It is worth
noticing that Turkey became the highest figure; overtaking from that of Greece,
escalated to 90 in 2007, whereas the number of Greek pupils nosedived to 60 which
positioned the same number with that of Iran owing to Iran’s steady growth in
the graph. Of the latter
half period after 2007, around 10 more Turkish and Iranian students registered
in 2008, and Greek is seen secured the similar number of students for consecutive
two years. However, while Greece slumped from around 70 to 30 in the end, other
nations reached their summits; Iranian delineates 140 and Turkish depicts 120
in number. |
