A number of vegetarians have insisted that having meals without meat or fish is better for their body as well as the world. Personally, as breeding animals makes much carbon, I think it is indeed good for the environment.
Initially, a lot of people who do not have meat or fish aim to protect nature. For example, chickens have lived in a small and narrow cage to be meat or to produce eggs, and a lot of people think it is an abuse. Then the cows, which are going to be beef, also generate much carbon that threatens the Earth more than the various machine in the world. Therefore, it is sort of conserving the environments having without animals such as meat, fish, and even the diet including dairy, and also they can avert generating animal abuses.
On the other hand, we are not sure about health, because people need to have meat to maintain for maintaining their nutrition. They often have some nutritional supplements for their health. This being so, it is hard to consider having the only vegetables for as a healthy body. However, there is no difference between vegetarians and others who eat meat, as they have a lot of diseases as well as obesity. It means, health depends on how individuals themselves themselves how they concentrate on and manage their health.
In conclusion, I think that vegetarians have contributed to preserving our nature including preventing animal abuse. However, in the terms of health, there are no advantages and also disadvantages as well because the people who enjoy the meats used to be found diseases. If they focus on their health and have some adequate nutritional supplements, it is going to be better than having diets that are made by animals.
