Today more and more tourists are visiting
places where conditions are difficult, such as the Sahara desert or the
Antarctic.
What are the benefits and disadvantages for
tourists who visit such places? |

Your Answer ▼
I visited the Sahara desert three years
ago. I acknowledged there were various and many tourists who want visit more
difficult places at that time. This trend has continued until now. The tourists
going to hard places has increased more and more.
There are various benefits from these
trends. First of all, the economy in poor countries can grow up because of
travel industries. There are some surveys that the increasing number of people
visiting Sahara desert give a significant role in Egypt’s economic growth.
Without touring to desert, a lot of people in Egypt could suffer depression.
Secondly, visiting severe places encourage
young people to challenge something difficult in their life. In my case, I had
really serious experience in dessert. There was no water as well as being
dangerous from the snake which has an even poison. It was too cold to stay at
night in tent on the desert. But those experience always make me not to give up
something difficult in my college and company.
But unfortunately, there are also
environment issues as a lot of tourists visit the place where people have not
been well. Especially, the plastic bag which has spread by tourists remain over
three hundred years has been big social issues in Tibet which has the Everest
mountain.
For this reason, I firmly believe that the
governments which have a splendid place for tourists make a strong policy
against environment problem. They have to make tourists to concern about the
rubbish taken. I insist that the environmental issues are more important than tourist’s
special experience. |
