The
pie chart indicates the data collected in 2009 and 2019 that shows the
proportion of six different electronic gadgets used to watch television series
between the age of people from 18 to 25 in Canada.
Overall,
it is clear that the highest percentage recorded in 2009 was traditional
television, whereas in 2019 the flat-screen television was recorded as the
highest share, which accounted 27%, among the other devices.
To be more specific, in 2009 tablet was least preferred
device, recording 5%. On the other hand, the proportion for the use of laptop
was four times greater than that of tablet. The percentage for mobile phone,
desktop computer and laptop were all equal or less than a fifth of the whole. In
2019, apart from conventional television and laptop, the share for all other
gadgets increased, while the share of flat-screen television tripled from the
previous years, showing a dramatic growth from 8% to 27%. However, the
proportion for conventional television shrank significantly from 34% to 4%,
resulting the lowest share in 2019.
