Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in the scientific research, business, and academic world. Others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.
There are divergent opinions regarding the issue of whether all information that is available should be shared in specific fields such as science, business and academic circumstances. Although there are some people who support that when more information is revealed, it results in better situations, I personally believe that this must be restricted to some extent.
Thanks to the development of diverse technologies, having access to a variety of information became relatively easy for most people. This sometimes leads people to think that every individual must have the right to know all information available. With this belief, there have been a number of people who were able to take advantage of it or even cases that resulted in positive outcomes. For example, since all data about global warming is now widely accessible, the majority of people in developed countries are aware of the danger of it and are trying to contribute to the better environment for the future. This illustrates that it can be beneficial for research, businesses, and academic situations if more information can be shared with the public.
On the other hand, it is prevalently acknowledged that some information such as personal and undefined matter can be extremely valuable or cause confusion among the public. This is because every individual has a different range of knowledge which means that some information can be invaluable to be shared as there is the possibility of people being unable to handle it. For instance, when a scientific study announced the last day of Earth, many people began to believe every word that came from the study and started to rebel in order to compensate for their hard work by reckless spending and involvement in crime. As a result, the crime rate in various cities increased substantially with a rising number of people quitting their jobs. This example clearly explains that some information should not be accessed by the public as it can result in adverse consequences.
To conclude, even though there are some people who argue that it is better to share as much information as possible, I strongly believe that it is inevitable to have some information that must not be revealed as there is the possibility of people not taking it in the right way and causing issues.
