Children can learn a lot and quickly, and what they spend most of their time doing affects their personalities. For this development, some people often think that organised activities should be provided. However, others think that children are responsible for time management, and I also agree with them and will discuss the reasons for both views and present my opinion further in this essay.
For one thing, children can become attentive when every activity is ready for them. It can be in a form of group activity like team sports, and they may play with their friends and concentrate better on what they do because they do not have to plan what to do in the first place. They will like the freedom of using time however they like for the activities. Also, organised activities in free time enable them to focus on their study later on.
Onetheless, children can strengthen time management skills at an early age when they plan their free time by themselves. As time management skills involve many other abilities such as decision making and problem solving, they are able to practise all of them at once. Also, while planning what to do, they can have more chances to learn about their own selves by developing their interests and passions and can go one step further to their dream future.
To end things off, children can be provided with organised activities in their free time or can plan them on their own. Personally, I believe that planning time and activities should be encouraged because it gives a chance to make a growth in many more life skills. |
