Some countries have a long working time, and they believe that this will bring more economic success than those countries which do not have a long working time. However, I firmly believe that workers can achieve their goals during the appropriate time because a long working time is not always guaranteed optimal outcomes.
To begin with, if there is not a limited time in the workplace, nobody wants to go there because they want to work an average time. Some experts argue that these days, many people work average time, and by doing so, their work efficiency has decreased because of stress. As a result, the probability of quitting increase rapidly in modern society. Therefore, by working along with average, many workers lose their enthusiasm because they feel exhausted, and to succeed economically does not relate to working time.
Moreover, many big companies prefer limited working hours rather than as much as they can because by providing worker’s welfare, their work efficiency usually thinks that the first important thing that they can succeed in modern society is to promote worker’s efficiency. In addition to this, they provide a gym and several facilities for workers as well as medical insurance. As a result, workers who working these companies can work harder, and they can achieve economic success.
To sum up, I personally believe that a long average working time brings a lot of disadvantages. If companies want to achieve their goals or success, they should promote worker’s work efficiency by providing welfare programs for them.
