I assert that
the advantages of starting a new business as a college student outweigh the disadvantages
because they have more opportunities to try, and would learn many things through
running an enterprise.
Some
believe creating a start-up in college have negative effects on students. Running
a business needs lots of effort, so it is easy for students to lose
concentration on studying, which should be the first priority for a student to
do. Since they students are not aware of every specific fields to run an enterprise
by its own, there is a big chance to lose money. Without learning the basic
qualities of an entrepreneur such as management skills, it is almost impossible
to earn much money to maintain the company. Running a business is not a stable
job, so it would be hard to remain working for it for a certain period of time.
Notwithstanding,
college students should try making a start-up if they want to, even though they
may fail. While adults who are responsible to raise their children have many
obstacles to start a business even if they have a great idea which may lead to
success, college students (바로 앞에 있는표현이니까 가급적이면 대체해주시는 게 좋습니다.) relatively have less stress about having to make a
living. Therefore, there are more opportunities for them to challenge
themselves. When the college encourages students to create a business, it means
that professors and many other start-up accelerators would help, so there is no
need to worry about the lack of information or money.
In
conclusion, although it is clear that there may be risks for college students
to start a business, I believe it is a worthy challenge, because whether one’s
company fail or success, that experience would help in whatever occupation one
gets in the future.
