Your Answer ▼ Technology is called double-edge sword because
it gives a number of advantages and the environmental problems at the same
time. Some argue that scientific methods can mitigate the problem. However,
others think that the simper ways can resolve the matters. I am in favor of the
first opinion for a significant reason.
On the one hand, some people believe that much
simpler behaviors gather together, and they make huge outcomes in terms of the
environmental problems. The simpler works is the easier that people can do repetitively
and routinely as their habits, making effective ways to solve the problems. For
example, picking up trash on the streets, recycling as well as saving water are
simple and trivial but these can be fundamental methods to cope with the
matters. These show that simple and small conduct also even enough to solve the
problems.
However, the ways which are comprised of
technological and scientifical information can effectively and reasonably solve
the environmental problems. Professional knowledge gives particular ways to
perfectly resolve the problems. For example, machines which regulate detrimental
by-products from the factories can directly preserve the earth from air
pollution and any destructions. In addition, by using knowledge data, scientists
can know where and when the climate change will happen, and even they can
predict harmful effects from the global warming, dealing with these problems
appropriately.
In conclusion, even though small but priceless
individuals’ efforts on the environmental problems is valuable, the matters can
be mitigated effectively by utilizing science and technology. |
