It is a common belief that the development
of artificial intelligence will make humans' work to nothing. However, I firmly
believe that work performed by humans will always plays a vital role because
there are things that can’t be done by machines but humans can.
On the one hand, people think that
artificial intelligence will replace humans' work with machines to auto program
because machines is more efficient and generate higher income than humans. To be
more specific, machines can do more sophisticated work compared to humans
without errors. For example, research has shown that machines could make more
products than humans in an hour which leads to higher return. Thereby, the
companies prefer to use machines.
Nevertheless, I support the idea that work
performed by humans will always be important because there are essential parts
of the workforce that machines can’t do, but humans can. While machines repeatedly do
undifferentiated work, humans can do various style of work and
communicate with clients which leads to more satisfaction to them. For
instance, when we make a craft for our customer, we can accept their needs and
create the product with our emotions. However, the only thing that machines can
do is making the product with data that has been inserted to them. As a
consequence, the client will be satisfied with humans' work, not machines work.
To sum up, while it is apparent that the
development of artificial intelligence will invade humans' work field, it is
undeniable that humans will always be important in performing work.
