In recent years, many young people get an
occupation which their parents have, instead of selecting another job. I believe
that the demerits of this choice prevail over the merits.
It is true that there are many benefits for
the youth to follow their parent's career because they can gain useful
information regarding the job. Firstly, they are able to know a specific career
path in depth by learning it from their parents. It would play a significant
role in being successful in their career. In addition, they can figure out the
advantages and disadvantages of a occupation in advance. Besides, their parents
can give a hand to their sons and daughters, when they face a difficulty difficulties while
working.
However, a number of people say that
following parents' career have has (following 과 호응됩니다.) two major drawbacks. To begin with, it might
make youngsters to have low self-esteem, if their parents are excessively good
at the tasks. This is because their performance may be compared with their
parents' ability by others in the same field. Moreover, they would lose the opportunities
to go through various experiences. If the youth do not broaden their horizons
by not experiencing various jobs, they cannot understand a variety of other's
lives so that it would limit the range of the point of their worldviews.
In conclusion, although young people's
selection of participating in a field of job in which their parents work have
negative aspects regarding the psychological problem and the lack of diversity
of experience, I believe that the advantages of it far outweigh the disadvantages.
This is because it can save the young's time to be employed in the context of
extremely low unemployment rate in the world.
