In
recent years, the average number of children per household has been lowering
constantly. While some people think having fewer children in each household is a
positive development, I firmly argue that it would be a negative effect on society
and people character.
First
of all, the size of the family can influence the individual personality.
The
children growing up in multi-child families tend to be more good personality
and sociability in the future than only child. That
is because they can learn about how to make concessions and consider others in
their many family members. Also, since they are used to living with many family
members having various inclinations, they are more likely to embrace others’ thoughts
and feelings. According to the recent research, people with many family members
relatively tend to adapt well in society, but people who grow up as only child
find it harder to belong to society.
In
addition, reducing population could lead to national concerns. There
is a word ‘population is the source of the country’. If the number of people decreases,
economic growth would be low. Moreover, it could make a big difference in the number
of jobs and people’s values. For
example, the number of teachers and obstetricians have reduced as declining children’s
figures.
In conclusion, even though, there might be a positive
effect on having fewer children in each household, I personally think that this
would cause a negative development in one’s characters and society level. |
