Nowadays, most of interview is conducting prior to hire. However, this is not the most practical way to know whether a certain candidate is perfect for the position. Therefore, I believe that other method such as practical test would be the most suitable method of choosing the employees. Whenever people have an interview, they may feel that the way of doing the interview is being unfair. Because an interview is involving with the past experiences only, they will never be able to see the potential power of person. Since the current way of interview is not effective, the company can find the alternative approaches to do the interview to find the suitable candidates. Now the company can change the interview procedure to be the practical where they can find the suitable candidates for the company. So that, by taking the practical test during the interview would be beneficial for employees and employers by saving the time and effort. When people taking a practical test during the interview, they have a high probability of getting the position within the job and they are more fit to the organisation. The practical test is the most effective way to define the candidates, because this will make the candidates to show their personality by involving with a real work environment and showing their work approaches. Now the company should consider of having a practical method for the interview so that, they can save the time and effort to hire the suitable candidates for their organisation. In conclusion, the current way of selecting the candidate is not practical way because it does not show the potential value of employees. Therefore, the company could have involved with the practical test for their interview to see how the certain person will react on the situation to see whether that person is suitable for the company. |
