The members of the society are responsible to protect the environment as well as their society. There have been many campaigns and rules as parts of the efforts, but they do not seem to last. People often think that more individuals should participate in, but actually politicians can execute more to improve the environmental pollution, and the reasons will be discussed in this essay.
From this point, the government and law makers are able to regulate both companies and individuals and maximise the efficiency of environmental protection processes. By encouraging more people to participate in the processes, they can make their efforts influence on many parts of the polluted areas. Especially local governments can conduct a new law and force people to obey it when there is a serious environmental problem and immediately take meaningful action to save wildlife and their habitats.
Henceforth, the participation of politicians can help solve air pollution problems in particular by improving transportation systems. Roads are parts of infrastructures of a city that many people use, but without a consistent restriction, they can easily be contaminated. The government law can act as the restriction and effectively manage the systems so that the quality of the air does not become worse any more. Also, the politicians know how the condition of the air changes and can apply the law accordingly.
At the end, rather than individuals, politicians in the government have responsibilities to reduce environmental pollution. Their action can have an immediate and effective influence on people and lead to the actual change in the environment. |
