The diagrams illustrate the lay out of a
public park called Grange before and after renovation in 1920 and today.
Overall, it is clear that Grange park has
several changes in the map over the whole period.
Looking at the diagrams more closely, one
can see that the fountain was displaced by the rose garden in the middle of the
map. Furthermore, there are four seats around the rose garden. The two
entrances secured old location. One leads to Aronold avenue in the northern
end. The other leads to Eldon street in the southern end of the map. In 1920,
there was the stage for musicians to the east of the fountain. In contrast, the
stage for musicians has replaced with the amphitheathre for concerts today. The
two rose gardens in the south and the north have merged today which has
situated in the middle of the rose garden. One rose garden in the northwest has
remained at the same position. There has built the entrance underground car
park to the southeast just by the water feature. Lastly, the children’s play
has been added where the pond for water plants once sat.
