The table depicts statistical information
about the percentage of government spending in five domestic policies in
Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom in the year of 2009. In general, it is
clear that all three countries spent the least on the sector of environmental
protection.
Looking at the table more closely, as for
the expenditure in health and economic affairs, the figures were similar in
three countries. Also, the rates of government spending in health were the
highest in Germany and the United Kingdom, while the biggest figure of
government money usage was public services in Italy, which was also the highest
rate from the table.
In addition, when it comes to the section
of education, the rate of the British government spending was nearly 2% points
higher than the rates in Germany and Italy, which were 6.4% in the UK and 4.3%
and 4.6% in Germany and Italy, respectively. It is also noteworthy that in the
case of public services, there was clear gap between the percentages of
government spending in Germany, Italy, and the UK, which accounted for 6.6%,
8.6 % and 4.6% each.
