As the Internet gets more widely spread in these days, there
is a growing concern whether web contents are good to our children or
not. Some people insist that the Internet content should not be a part
of children's education, whereas others assert that the Internet content
can be beneficial to children's education. I agree with the latter
views for following reasons.
To
begin with, web content can be used to widen children's accademic
potential in studies. There are a variety of fabulus education contents
with
reletively low prices in the Internet, young students can figure out
whenever they want to
know. For example, a boy who wants to become a future dinosaur
researcher can know much better about it - such as their size, food,
features - , with putting a word 'dinosaur' in the Internet searching
engines like Google.
Surely, those
who oppose to the Internet-based education worry its unintentional
side-effect. In other words, it can make children addicted to the
Internet. Besides, it has many dangerous contents such as sexual
offensism or violent games. However, if parents give them a proper
guidences early, those kinds of side-effect can be easily removed and
prevented. For instance, parents can set the Internet usage time limits
with their children and block harmful sites by using firewall services.
To sum up, web education contents are so competitive that it can encourage childrens
accademic accomplishment very effectively. The negative side-effect
like addiction or exposure to unpropor contents can be erased with
parents proper gudences.
